A new study conducted by Austria’s General Hospital of Salzburg discovered that patients with chronic back pain who listened to classical music after surgery experienced better pain relief than those who did not.

Another study conducted by Dr Robert Herdegen of America’s Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia showed that participants who listened to music while cycling managed to travel 11 percent further than those. This demonstrates that listening to music helps improve your overall endurance and distracts from any discomfort you may experience during your workout.
